TARZAN MAGIC MEN FIRST EDITION SET OF 3 ARGOSY - RARE AND IMPRESSIVE, September, 1936

Inventory No: CHV-130

Year: 1936

Publisher: Munsey

Description: THE COMPLETE EDGAR RICE BURROUGHS SERIAL TARZAN And The MAGIC MEN IS OFFERED HERE, IN SUPERB CONDITION! The three pulps are dated Sep 19, Sep 26 and Oct 3, 1936. Naturally, other top authors are included in these spectacular pulps. Theodore Roscoe, W.C. Tuttle, H. Bedford-Jones and L. Ron Hubbard all have stories of their own. This is a magnificent, world-class set.

CONDITION is extremely nice. These pulps are very bright, and still look almost new. There are a few minor edge tears, typically on the overhang. The 9-19-36 pulp has about a 1" tear on the cover at mid-spine which also extends to the spine (this may have been created at the print shop). An absolutely stunning set, with gorgeous off-white pages. The overall appearance is NEAR MINT, due to some minimal flaws visible upon close inspection, we grade it VERY FINE overall. This could be the highlight of any pulp collection. SCANS: Our software limits us to three images, so we are showing the Tarzan cover, the LRH-mention cover, and the spines. Just look at how brilliant the inks are, and how white the backgrounds are! This is truly an amazing set.
