I'M OUT TO LICK - RARE WWII FULL COLOR POSTER HI GRADE, 1942
NEW!

Inventory No: CHV-295

Year: 1942

Publisher: U.S. Government Printing Office

Description: THE UNPARALLELED FURY OF WORLD WAR II WAS RAGING WHEN THIS SPECTACULAR ORIGINAL POSTER WAS ISSUED. In that ultimate battle of Good vs. Evil over sixty years ago, the United States Government released this extremely powerful graphic as part of the worldwide effort to explain and motivate.

THE FULL COLOR SCENE PRESENTS AN IMAGE OF AN EXTREMELY DETERMINED HOUSEWIFE. Clearly, nothing is going to stop this lady from "doing her bit" for the war effort! Key notes from the poster include the following text: Distributed by OWI for the Office Of Economic Stabilization. The poster is undated, we estimate it was printed in 1942.

CONDITION: this original still looks great. As we gaze upon it, we can tell what it looked like so long ago when it was new. The poster was originally released folded, measuring about 20" x 28". The unprinted part of the paper is still quite nice, we would call it off-white. Overall, we grade it a superb VERY FINE. SCANS: We are showing two images. The first is a detail, which tries to capture the truly remarkable image of the lady. The second is a picture of the full poster. Our consignor's photos usually look somewhat darker than the actual poster, and a bit fuzzy. Please be assured that the poster offered here is sharply printed and a rare showpiece, suitable for the finest collections. It would make a remarkable wall accent in a home or office.

DUE TO RESTRICTIONS CREATED BY SOME GOVERNMENTS OUTSIDE OF THE USA, WE MAY NOT BE ABLE TO SHIP THIS POSTER TO ALL LOCATIONS WORLDWIDE. If your shipping address is located outside of the USA, please do not bid on this poster until it is certain that we can ship it to your address.
