Inventory No: CHV-305 HISTORIC THEMES AND CREATORS ARE ASSOCIATED WITH THIS POSTER, including JEFF BRIDGES, DISNEY, EARLY COMPUTERS, VIDEO GAMES, BRUCE BOXLEITNER, CINDY MORGAN and the rock group JOURNEY. Tron is considered one of the most important films of its era for a variety of reasons, and this poster is of such importance that we regularly see it as background in TV and movie sets. Imagine owning a piece of cinematic history - that is what this is. CONDITION is essentially brand new, even though this is an original poster from decades ago. This large poster, known in the trade as a "one sheet," measures about 27" x 41". Although most examples were folded by the original movie distributor (for ease of transportation), ours was not. It has been stored rolled since it was new, and we will ship it rolled. Our consignor has worked with several different major film studios over the decades, and reports that he obtained this extraordinary poster when it was new directly from Disney. It has never been used. There are a few barely visible half inch white lines that look like scratches or creases (left of the "PG" rating notice), but these are only visible upon inspection and are just how this poster was printed (these are not from handling, and are so minor they do not show in the picture). Additionally, one can see some waviness on the edges of the poster which results from having been stored rolled (see edges of 2nd and 3rd photos). Overall we grade this poster a stunning "as described NEAR MINT." It still looks great, even though it is now over 25 years old. PHOTOS: We are providing large photos so that everyone can see just how nice this spectacular poster is. Our photos are a bit fuzzy and dark, with some glare. The actual rolled poster is sharply printed with square corners and brilliant colors. It would make a spectacular addition to any collection of historic movie posters.
